Ms. Sim Wen Yee is the Founder and Senior Partner of Messrs Sim & Rahman, TEP member of STEP Singapore, Deputy President of APEACC, Exco and legal advisor to Breast Cancer Welfare Association (BCWA), past President of WILL Asia Pacific and Lifetime member of Worldwide Independent Lawyers League (WILL), and the Lead Trainer at the Malaysia Law Institution.

With over 10 years of experience, she specialises in wills, international probate and estate administration matters, family office and foundation advises, property, and company law. She notably closed cases worth USD 11 million for a Korean family with assets across East Malaysia, Korea, Singapore, and the U.S.

Jack Yap Ngee Heong is the Group Chief Executive Officer Amanah Raya Berhad. He began his career at Standard Chartered Bank and held key roles at Kuwait Finance House, RHB Banking Group, and Malaysian Rating Corporation Berhad (MARC), where he last served as Chief Commercial Officer. Jack holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management from the University of Sunderland.

Rosmaidar Mustafa was appointed as Head of the Trust Administration Department in April 2024.

She began her career with Amanah Raya Berhad in 2006 as a Manager in the Legal Department. In 2008, she transitioned to the Trust Department, where she played a key role in overseeing trust administration processes and ensuring the efficient delivery of services.

Rosmaidar subsequently progressed through several leadership roles, serving as Branch Head of Alor Setar in 2016, Branch Head of Sungai Petani in 2019, and Branch Head of Penang in 2023, before assuming her current position as Head of the Trust Administration Department.

She holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons.) degree from Universiti Teknologi MARA.

Dato’ Nor Fazlina Mohd Ghouse is the Chief Executive Officer of Maybank Trustees Berhad. With over 20 years of experience in private banking, trust, and fiduciary services, she leads trustee services for individuals and corporates, specialising in family trusts, foundations, and estate solutions. A founding committee member and current secretary of STEP Malaysia, she is known for advising UHNW clients on wealth transfer strategies across jurisdictions like Labuan, Jersey, and the UK, promoting sustainable legacy planning.

Neesha is a Senior Manager in the Investment Management Development Department at the Securities Commission Malaysia. She is actively involved in shaping Malaysia’s wealth management policies and is part of the team that developed the Single Family Office Incentive Scheme. She also promotes the initiative globally and works directly with families to facilitate their establishment of in Malaysia.

June holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from the University of Hertfordshire and is an Associate Member of the Malaysian Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (MAICSA).

She is also a licensed Trust Officer approved by the Labuan Financial Services Authority, underscoring her expertise in the trust and fiduciary services sector.

She began her career in the Labuan International Business and Financial Centre (IBFC) in 2010 and has since built extensive hands-on experience in the trust and corporate services industry.

Currently, June serves as Associate Director at JTC Kensington Labuan Limited, where one of her key roles is advising clients on the establishment and administration of Labuan entities, ensuring regulatory compliance while meeting the evolving needs of global investors.

Gary Chan Yoong Wei is the Head of Sales & Marketing (Property Development) at Sunsuria Berhad, bringing 16 years of experience in Malaysia’s property development industry. Throughout his career, he has successfully led high-performing sales and marketing teams, delivering outstanding results for integrated, commercial, and residential developments with a combined Gross Development Value (GDV) exceeding RM10 billion.

His expertise spans strategic sales planning, product development, branding, pricing strategies, and international market expansion across Taiwan, China, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Indonesia. Gary has consistently achieved ambitious sales targets while contributing to the growth of renowned property developers including TS Law Land, S P Setia, and Sunway Property.

Beyond driving business performance, he is experienced in enterprise risk management, team leadership, and developing long-term marketing strategies that create sustainable value. His contributions have also supported award-winning developments recognised by FIABCI Malaysia and FIABCI World.

An experienced legal practitioner with nearly 25 years of practice, specializing in handling complex legal matters across more than 1,000 cases.

Graduated from the Department of Law at Soochow University and admitted to the Bar in 1999, with extensive expertise in legal practice, business consulting, and cross-disciplinary advisory services. Currently serves as the Founder and Chairman of Baixiang Chuanfu Planning Consulting Co., Ltd., and Managing Director of Chengshu Law Firm. In addition to legal practice, actively engaged in the field of precision health management as a certified professional under Kangbo Group, and a member of the 5028 Health Managers Association. 

Previously held a managerial role in the Business Department of Chenhui Asset Co., Ltd., with substantial experience in asset management and business operations. Honored with the 20th Anniversary Professional Excellence Award by the Taipei Bar Association, recognizing outstanding contributions to the legal profession. 

Also a member of several international legal organizations, including the Worldwide Independent Lawyers League (WILL), the Global Alliance of Independent Lawyers, and the WILL Asia-Pacific / Asia Family Law Alliance

Ahmad Shamsul Bahri Bin Abdul Aziz is an experienced legal and operations expert with over 20 years’ experience in estate administration, probate law, and trust services. As Operations Manager at Amanah Raya Berhad, he oversees performance and operational compliance across branches, implementing strategies to strengthen service compliance and enhance client satisfaction. 

He has extensive experience in evaluating and approving branch service applications each year, ensuring that estate, will, and trust services meet the highest standards. He previously served as Branch Manager in Kota Bharu, where his emphasis on sales and community engagement boosted branch revenue. 

His earlier positions included Legal Officer and Company Solicitor, managing court cases with a proven success rate and drafting numerous legal contracts and trust documents. He is an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya and earned a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. 

His projects showcase a dedication to innovation and efficiency: he led a backlog-file task force that closed unresolved estate files, spearheaded QR code verification for letters of administration, and coordinated estate-planning outreach campaigns. Fluent in Malay and English, he combines strong leadership, regulatory knowledge, and a clientfocused mindset, making him an effective moderator for this event.

Mohamad Zakian bin Dio currently serves as Chief Registrar at the Department of Syariah Judiciary Malaysia (JKSM), holding the prestigious JUSA C grade.

With over 28 years of distinguished service in the Syariah judiciary since 1998, he has held various senior positions including Syariah High Court Judge, Director of Training, and Senior Director (Judiciary). His extensive experience across adjudication, mediation, prosecution, and judicial administration makes him a highly respected authority in Malaysia’s Syariah legal system.

Mohd Hafizullah Bin Abdullah is a Partner at Messrs Sim & Rahman and an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya with over 14 years of experience in civil, criminal, and Shariah litigation. He has represented clients across all levels of the Malaysian courts, including the Federal Court and Shariah Court of Appeal.

He holds a Double Degree in Law and a Postgraduate Diploma in Syariah Law and Practice (UiTM). Known for his comprehensive expertise across both civil and Syariah legal systems, he also serves as a Commissioner for Oaths.

Kittirut Kevin Luecha is a Partner at Legalese Ltd. and a leading M&A lawyer in Thailand, specialising in high-value domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and corporate restructurings.

He advises multinational corporations, private equity and venture capital investors, regional groups, and founders on strategic investments, share and asset acquisitions, and exit transactions across industries including manufacturing, logistics, energy, real estate, consumer goods, and technology.

In 2025, he served as deal counsel on several major transactions, including the Sunsu Bearhouse transaction valued at approximately THB 500 million, a THB 2 billion transaction involving Hidaka Group and Pyro Energy, and the sale of a non-listed company to a listed company valued at over THB 350 million. He holds an LL.M. from Temple University (USA), an LL.M. and LL.B. (Second Class Honors) from Ramkhamhaeng University, Thailand, and has completed multiple professional certifications in M&A, taxation, and international legal practice.

Mr. Tiong Chooi Dang, RFP is a seasoned financial and estate planning professional with over 30 years of experience across banking, insurance, and legacy advisory. He currently serves as a District Manager at AIA Berhad and is actively involved in estate planning with organisations such as Rockwills and As-Salihin Trustee Berhad.

A 25-time MDRT qualifier and Lifetime MDRT member, Mr. Tiong specialises in wealth protection, estate planning, and legacy structuring, helping individuals and families safeguard assets and plan for long-term succession.

Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries with over 20 years’ experience across conventional insurance and takaful. Currently dual-hatting as Chief Financial Officer of a domestic insurer and Principal Officer of an offshore entity; and previously served as Chief Actuary for 10 years. Combines actuarial expertise with strategic and financial leadership to drive growth and transformation. Brings extensive experience in capital and risk management, product development, reinsurance, and high-net-worth solutions, with a proven track record of delivering sustainable business performance.

Ng Chun Hoe is Senior Manager of Product Development & Management at Prudential Assurance Malaysia Berhad, with over 12 years of experience in the life insurance industry. Trained across both the Actuarial and Product Marketing functions, he brings a rare dual perspective — translating complex product structures into practical, client-facing strategies. His work sits at the intersection of insurance product design and wealth transfer, equipping estate planning practitioners with a sharper understanding of how life insurance can be deployed as a structured estate planning instrument.

Muhd Fauzi Bin Sabri is Head Relationship Advisor at EPF Gombak, bringing over 15 years of progressive experience within the Employees Provident Fund. Having served across multiple functions — from retirement and pension approvals to branch leadership in Mersing, Kota Bharu, and Tanah Merah — he brings deep institutional knowledge of EPF operations, products, and services. His breadth of experience across both operational and advisory roles gives practitioners a grounded, inside view of how EPF intersects with retirement and estate planning considerations.

Josephine Poh is Director and Head of Trustee Services at TMF Group, with over 10 years of experience in the private trust industry. Her career spans some of the world’s most respected financial institutions, including Citi and Deutsche Bank in Singapore, where she served ultra high net worth individuals and families across global jurisdictions. Prior to her trust career, she built her foundation in corporate secretarial practice at a full-serviced law firm in Singapore — giving her a grounded, technical understanding of legal structures that continues to inform her advisory work today.

Across her career, Josephine has worked alongside tax advisors, lawyers, and private bankers to design and deliver trust solutions tailored to the complexity of each client’s personal, family, and business circumstances. She holds the STEP Trust and Estate Practitioner designation and the WMI Foundation Certificate for Family Office Advisors — and brings to every engagement the rare ability to translate technical trust structures into outcomes that genuinely serve families across generations.

Chris Toh Pei Roo is a Partner in the firm’s Tax, Customs & Trade and Succession, Trusts, Estate Planning & Private Wealth Practice Groups. He advises on tax, customs, trusts, private wealth, succession planning, family office structuring, high-value real estate, and non-profit arrangements. Leveraging his tax disputes experience, Chris regularly assists multinational corporations, listed entities, high-net-worth individuals, families, and charitable institutions on contentious and advisory matters. He speaks regularly for professional and trade bodies, including CTIM, MIA and FMM, and has been recognised by Chambers Asia-Pacific, The Legal 500, Benchmark Litigation and asialaw for his tax practice

Josephine Chung is a Licensed Responsible Officer (SFC Type 4 & 9) and Asset Manager in Hong Kong with over 25 years of institutional leadership across top-tier global Private Banks and Asset Management firms.

Tier-1 Private Banking: Throughout her tenure at Citibank as an Investment Consultant in 2000, and later as Product Department Head and Relationship Director at ABN AMRO, alongside her senior experience at EFG Bank, she successfully architected pioneer investment platforms and spearheaded UHNW portfolio growth across the Asia, US and Europe regions. 

Holding an MBA from the University of Warwick, and having completed the Oxford Fintech Programme and Harvard Alternative Investments, Josephine bridges rigorous banking frameworks with agile asset management strategies. 

Her core focus is managing global clients’ wealth in Private Bank accounts and Trusts across Swiss, Singapore, and Hong Kong jurisdictions. As an independent Licensed Responsible Officer, she operates with a philosophy that “Integrity is everything,” offering unbiased and bespoke investment solutions that are crucial to enhancing the wealth of High-Net-Worth individuals, Family Offices, Capital Investment Entrant Scheme (CIES) applicants, and Trustee portfolios, while fulfilling complex succession and wealth management needs.

Keon’s recent career has been in finance, estate planning and trust services. He founded Riverside Trustees Limited (Singapore) with the conviction that every family– regardless of wealth level -, can have a Will, Trust and Lasting Power of Attorney. He is the author of “Planning your Will, Trust, LPA and more” in which he collaborated with over 30 practitioners from over 12 countries. He runs an estate planning training company called Riverside Training which provides IBF-accredited courses to the industry. He is keenly interested in cross-border estate planning fintech solutions for international families.

Pauh Jin joined TMF Labuan in 2012, bringing with him 5 years of experience in corporate administration for domestic clients across a wide range of domestic industries. In Labuan, he has been actively promoting various Labuan structures and Labuan licenses to various jurisdiction. Currently, he also leads the TMF China-Taiwan desk in Labuan. Pauh Jin holds an Honors Degree in LLB (University of London external program). He is also a Chartered Secretary and Chartered Governance Professional (ACIS)(CS)(CGP) with the Malaysian Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (MAICSA), and a Trust Officer approved by the Labuan Financial Services Authority since 2017.

Bernard Fung is a practicing Estate and Succession Planner with 16 years experience in the financial advisory industry. He is the co-founder of Chapter 3 Consultancy Pte Ltd, an holistic estate planning firm that offers personalized services to help customers pass down their values and legacies beyond just legal and monetary aspects. With his knowledge and experience, Bernard assists clients in crafting and drafting wills and trusts, ensuring that their wishes are accurately reflected. Moreover, he works closely with business owners to strategically structure their businesses, minimizing any disruptions during the inheritance process.
